Christian Parenting Ministry

In February 2024, the Christian Parenting Ministry was launched in response to the Lilly Endowment Grant awarded for the Christian Parenting and Caregiving Initiative. This initiative aims to empower parents and caregivers to share their faith and values with their children. Recognizing the challenges parents face in prioritizing their own spiritual well-being, our team developed a comprehensive approach to support their faith journey.

Maureen Anderson

Christian Parenting Ministry Coordinator

My name is Maureen Anderson, and I am truly honored to step into the role of Family Ministry Parent Coordinator here at FPCJ. As a parent and grandparent myself, I deeply understand the unique joys and challenges that parenting brings, especially within the context of nurturing a faith-based household.

Our church is committed to walking alongside each one of you, offering support and encouragement as you lead your families on this beautiful, sometimes complex, journey of faith. Every family is a vital thread in the fabric of our church community, and it’s my sincere desire to ensure that you feel seen, heard, and spiritually nourished.

As your Family Ministry Parent Coordinator, I am dedicated to fostering a strong connection between our ministry and your family. Your active participation is crucial in creating a supportive environment that aids our children’s spiritual development.

I am excited to announce that I am now available for individual meetings. By scheduling a 1:1 meeting with me, you’ll have an opportunity to voice any concerns, ask questions, and share valuable suggestions. Such interactions will assist us in shaping our programs to best serve our children and families.

Please remember, I am here to listen, support, and uplift you and your family.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
